    2. COsee, the reason why i wanted to split this into a 17-part operation was that I could validate the controls 1 - by - 1 to ensure that no false data is added to the database. They wont be called all at once, they will only be called if my controls do not have a default value in them (like an empty textbox). So should I still carry on with 1 large method?
