    <p>I'm a developer currently based in Seattle, WA but originally from the backwoods of Nova Scotia where I spent my time as a teenager teaching myself C++ building useless Windows 3.1 apps. I have a BSc in computer science from the University of Calgary and a BA in Music from Dalhousie university.</p> <p>I'm currently working for Amazon as a web developer in the retail accessibility team but in my spare time I build sites for not-for-profits that I volunteer with such as <a href="http://bikecollectives.org" rel="nofollow noreferrer">bikecollectives.org</a>, <a href="https://bikebike.org" rel="nofollow noreferrer">bikebike.org</a>, and <a href="http://bikeroot.ca" rel="nofollow noreferrer">bikeroot.ca</a>. At the moment I'm rebuilding bikecollectives.org in Rails 5.0.</p> <p>I work on a few neat Ruby Gems: <a href="https://github.com/lingua-franca/lingua_franca" rel="nofollow noreferrer">Lingua Franca</a> which integrates test frameworks with i18n translations to ensure all text is translated and all/only current translation keys are available to translators. It also gives the user context by saving the page content so they can view the page while they translate. <a href="https://github.com/lingua-franca/marmara" rel="nofollow noreferrer">Marmara</a> compiles a CSS code coverage report during integration testing. <a href="https://github.com/bumbleberry/bumbleberry" rel="nofollow noreferrer">Bumbleberry</a> adds browser capability logic into sass and ruby allowing the server to serve customized output and css files to the user depending on their browser. It greatly reduces the size of css files and creates fallbacks for browsers which are not capable of displaying specific content.</p>

    1. COExactly, every time we write a higher lever language, we get closer to simply telling a computer what we want to have as output and the compiler renders it as binary assembly language.

    2. CO@RightSaidFred, we are not here to error check code for users looking for answers, we're here to get them on the right path. I expected there to be errors but I expect the OP can understand that ellipses are not valid instructions in javascript and that when I make small typos, they will easily be identified and corrected.

    3. COMerging this solution with Matt's would make this code pretty rock solid. If you ever needed to add a control to the form all you would need to do is add it to the html and css.

A row detail

Detail views are divided into sections. All the information in the data section comes from columns in the selected row. The other sections display data from other, related rows.

Related data can be related in a to-one or a to-many fashion. Captions of data related in a to-many fashion link to a list view showing a filtered view of the table.

Try moving around until you find a non-empty to-many entry and click on the label to get to one. You can move back to the root by clicking on the database name in the header.
