    1. COThe join could contain filters to cut down the records it needs to visit in the remote db. Whereas an update with no WHERE clause.. updates the ENTIRE table and takes are long as there are records in the table. Big table = longer update.

    2. COThat is truly ugly and even has a trailing UNION. Not only that the CASE statement is terrible .. It should just be "WHERE @i=1" and "WHERE @i=2"... if only you can unaccept answers

Guidance
A row detail

Try moving around until you find a non-empty to-many entry and click on the label to get to one. You can move back to the root by clicking on the database name in the header.

SQuiL has stopped working due to an internal error.
