I have an enormous thirst for knowledge and thus spend a lot of my free time researching new technologies and design patterns and experimenting with code.</p> <p>I have a deep understanding of good software design principles such as <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SOLID_(object-oriented_design)" rel="nofollow">SOLID</a>, and software design patterns such as those defined by the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Design_Patterns_(book)" rel="nofollow">Gang of Four</a> and I leverage that knowledge in my work on a daily basis.</p> <p>I have a lot of experience with <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agile_software_development" rel="nofollow">agile software development</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Test-driven_development" rel="nofollow">test-driven development (TDD)</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Behavior-driven_development" rel="nofollow">behaviour-driven development (BDD)</a>, and the practice of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continuous_integration" rel="nofollow">continuous integration</a> and <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continuous_delivery" rel="nofollow">continuous delivery</a>.
