    <p>I've been a professional musician for most of my adult life, but left the music retail scene about 16 years ago (I still perform, though!). Although I have done some type of development, part time for over 22 yrs, I have been officially a full time developer for about 14 years.</p> <p>My responsibilities require skills in C#, Javascript, and a little VB every now and then (yuk!). I have worked with classic ASP and ASP.NET (Webforms and MVC), Windows Forms and Web Services (REST and SOAP) and previously, quite a bit of SQL server programming.</p> <p>We have a small shop, so I work the full stack. However, my best work seems to be in web apps (server and client). I prefer ASP.NET MVC as the serverside technology and on the client side I use Knockout, jQuery, etc. and looking forward to start working with Typescript and Angular. We now have several apps hosted in Windows Azure, so I've become quite familiar with working in that environment. Although web apps are the mainstay, I've started mobile cross-platform dev with Xamarin.</p>

    1. COIt should be noted that rolling back a nested transaction is bad news. If the inner rollback statement is executed WITHOUT a transaction name, it will rollback ALL open transactions and any rollbacks or commits for the outer transaction will fail because there are no open transactions. If the inner rollback is executed with the name of the inner transaction, an exception is thrown. This happens whether its all in the same statement or from nested procedure calls. I know this because, not believing it to be true, I wrote sql to test it and that is exactly what happened.

    3. CO+1... Thanks for the response! Looks intriguing. Would have to convince the boss that they could be trusted with our log data. I've seen the config project you mentioned, but we chose to log to table storage with a static config that we republish if we need to change (which hasn't happened yet) and haven't moved beyond that. I'm hoping MS will see the need and create a comprehensive solution (fingers crossed!). Unfortunately, I can't choose an "accepted" answer at this point, but will if we decide to go with your suggestion.

Try moving around until you find a non-empty to-many entry and click on the label to get to one. You can move back to the root by clicking on the database name in the header.
