    <p>Earned a master's degree in Computer Science at Utrecht University, which is mainly about advanced algorithmic analysis and design. The education program also contained many practical software architecture and software engineering related courses, as well as some project management and development methodology courses.</p> <p>During that time, I already worked as a software developer part-time at Serac Applications B.V., mainly on software integrated with the SAP Business One system (ERP software for SMEs).</p> <p>After earning my master's degree, I started leading the software development department at Serac Applications as Team Leader Software Development which is still my current position. Since then, I have designed the architecture of many complex software components and also continued to partake in their development myself. Most of these software components are either classic Java/C# applications or GWT based web applications, integrated with SAP Business One and Magento (the open-source E-Commerce system).</p> <p>Although I have a broad interest in science generally, the field of software engineering and architecture especially appeals to me because of its mathematical basis and the ability to create something new.</p> <p>I care a great deal about writing elegant code myself and with the future in mind. Fun projects for me are those in which I have some kind of challenge (algorithmically or architecturally) and some freedom to technically design the code as I see fit because I know this will result in solid products.</p>

    3. COYou're welcome. There is indeed a LOT of documentation from Google about GWT. But: most of the documentation is pretty clear and helpful if you spend some time on it.
