    <p>Iam trying to build a StatusLog, every move that happens on application.     1. COIm curious where you even got that `insertText()` method reference from? Did you take a look at the documentation to see what methods were available for a QPlainTextEdit? Or were you just guessing? Also, I would recommend not using your ui -> py converted files from Designer to modify and add code. You should import it into your own module directly.
