POWebdriver executescript throws org.openqa.selenium.WebDriverException: Chrome did not respond to 'GetIndicesFromTab'

    <p>Webdriver- I have a page that has just one enabled textbox(txt1).The other input elements on the page(which are disabled initially) get enabled once we add a valid text to the textbox(txt1).</p> <p>What I want to do is try and inject jQuery/javascript that enters valid text into enabled textbox(txt1) and hence enable all the remaining elements.</p> <p>Since I'm using webdriver i use executescript for this purpose.The statement is below: </p> <pre><code>String arg1="123"; js.executeScript("return $('#abc').val(''+arguments[0])",arg1); </code></pre> <p>On execution this enters valid text into the textbox.But unfortunately it shows "Enter valid value".The script stops.On closing the browser window the failure is generated.</p> <p>Failure Trace:</p> <pre><code>org.openqa.selenium.WebDriverException: Chrome did not respond to 'GetIndicesFromTab'.
