    1. COThanks! This looks like exactly what I need. It's a pity some of the built-ins weren't more useful, since this seems like a common use-case. Also, there's an extra argument 'all' passed to zin/find-state. Removing this made the code function correctly.

    2. COOops, actually it's the `t` that's extra in the call to `zin/find-state` from `zin/since-state`. It's supposed to default to nil, and need to pass `t` from the agenda command itself (if ALL is `t` it will find any occurrence, not just the most recent in the logbook, which should generate false positives). I'll fix the value in my answer.
