    <p>I'm trying to use custom notifications in my Android application using Google's sample from <a href="http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/notifiers/notifications.html" rel="noreferrer">here</a> (section <a href="http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/ui/notifiers/notifications.html#CustomExpandedView" rel="noreferrer">Creating a Custom Notification Layout</a>).
