    <p>I was able to clone a copy of this repo over HTTPS authenticated. I've made some commits and want to push back out to the GitHub server.     3. COIn the future, don't paste "Authorization: Basic <stuff>" when showing example http headers. It's easy to base64 decode that and get your password. @mike: if you haven't changed your github password since you posted this question, I would suggest you do so.
