    <p>I have the following code which generates data similar to mine. The posting here (<a href="https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1343145/tsql-pivot-without-aggregate-function">PivotWithoutAggregateFunction</a>) suggested that using a CASE statement rather than PIVOT was better for non-numeric values. A row detail
