    1. COThanks, that makes sense. I was hoping there would be a way to state in the ControlTemplate that I wanted to use my 'textStyleTextBox' when an error occurs, as opposed to setting both 'Validation.ErrorTemplate' and 'Style' on every textbox that needs validation. Can you think of any way to do that?

    2. COYou can use styles at application level (Application.Resources) without a key such as a textblock style and all textblocks will automatically pick that style up by default.

    3. COHow about creating your own textbox deriving from the normal textbox. Define it's styles & error validation here as default. Then use your custom textbox as normal in your other Xaml files.

A row detail

Detail views are divided into sections. All the information in the data section comes from columns in the selected row. The other sections display data from other, related rows.

Related data can be related in a to-one or a to-many fashion. Captions of data related in a to-many fashion link to a list view showing a filtered view of the table.

Try moving around until you find a non-empty to-many entry and click on the label to get to one. You can move back to the root by clicking on the database name in the header.
