<p>I am about to employ a web developer to create a website. They create the site using Code Igniter (PHP framework) but it sits on their custom CMS. I'm wondering down the track - is it easy for another PHP developer to change the website and the CMS? The web developer says that because Code Igniter is widespread - it wouldn't be a problem. Is this correct?</p>
