Instead of clearing out my cache of users, I'd rather just update the ones that need to be updated, remove the ones that the synch says to, and add the new ones. But, I can't just do Object.Equals() on these objects.</p>

    1. COIt's normal for the hash codes to change over application runs. What is *not* normal is that `a.GetHashCode() != b.GetHashCode()` -- whoever wrote that class made it buggy, unless the class has important members that get automatically initialized to a non-fixed value (e.g. `DateTime.Now`).
