[worm_level] =&gt; 1 [worm_value] =&gt; 1 ) ) </code></pre> <p>At the minute the code is successful at selecting random arrays and saving them to a new array eg</p> <pre><code>Array ( [0] =&gt; 1 [1] =&gt; 1 ) </code></pre> <p>but I also want the descendent arrays to be saved to the new array.</p>

    1. COyou might find this easier if `$worms_level1` were an SplObjectStorage object containing Worm objects.

    2. COThanks for tidying that up and replying ;) I'm quite inexperienced when it comes to PHP so SplObjectStorage objects aren't something I'm familiar with. I'll have a look into it now. Surely there must be something I can do with the arrays as they are now?

    3. COyou can definitely work with the array as it is now. It's just a bit awkward. In any event, whether you decide to use `SplObjectStorage` or not, a `Worm` object will make life easier by changing your multidimensional array into a vanilla array.
