    <p>I've been searching these forums all day. I have a query statement stored in a database field. First query grabs random entries.</p> <pre><code>$sql1 = "select * from regquestions ORDER BY RAND() LIMIT 0,5"; $query = mysql_query($sql1); while ($rows = mysql_fetch_array($query)) { echo $rows['questioncode']; } </code></pre> <p><code>$rows['questioncode']</code> is a field that contains another sql statement, variables, etc. that is saved as a PHP file called "random questions" However, I need it to insert it and use it. Echo just prints it out on the page. I need to be able to insert the statement and see it as part of the code. </p> <p>When I call it from here: </p> <pre><code>$connection = mysql_connect($host,$user,$pass); mysql_select_db($dbname); include 'randomquestions2.php'; </code></pre> <p>I it all printed on the page instead of running the query. I can past the contents of the entire field in there and it runs, but not if I pull it in from the include. </p> <p>Thank you in advance</p>

    1. COIf you're using `echo`, it will be output to the browser (that's what echo does) - if you want to use the variable in the script you're including from, just define it as something. Perhaps an array? `$array_name[] = $rows['questioncode'];`, then access `$array_name` in your main script.

    2. COErm, do you mean you just see the php code? If so... start `randomquestions2.php` with `<?php` (and my apologies if that isn't the case ;) )

A row detail

Detail views are divided into sections. All the information in the data section comes from columns in the selected row. The other sections display data from other, related rows.

Related data can be related in a to-one or a to-many fashion. Captions of data related in a to-many fashion link to a list view showing a filtered view of the table.

Try moving around until you find a non-empty to-many entry and click on the label to get to one. You can move back to the root by clicking on the database name in the header.

SQuiL has stopped working due to an internal error.

If you are curious you may find further information in the browser console, which is accessible through the devtools (F12).
