    2. COAre you using the returned `TextView` in the `setIndicator()` method of a `TabHost.TabSpec` class? If I'm not mistaken setting a view there should disable the strip at the bottom. Right now do you see it?

Try moving around until you find a non-empty to-many entry and click on the label to get to one. You can move back to the root by clicking on the database name in the header.
