    <p>Our web page flickers on iPads after we add images or text to the page using JavaScript. We have tried various combinations of <code>-webkit-backface-visibility:hidden; -webkit-transform-style:preserve-3d; -webkit-transform:translate3d(0,0,0)</code> against different elements.     1. COHave you tried appending all the img elements at once, rather than one at a time in the each loop?

    3. COyou have a ton of slow webkit css rules. webkit rules are not always perf optimized like css3 versions. box-shadow, rgba, transforms, auto-margin, and opacity in particular are difficult to render. i think you use almost all of those features on what could be a simple page.
