From an
hclust
object, how can I extract only selected observations (
to_plot
below) and plot a dendrogram from these selected observations? This subset of observations I want to plot as a dendrogram, will not correspond to the tree structure of the
hclust
object, so I can't extract branches from the dendrogram.

NB. I do not wish to cluster or calculate the distance matrix using the subset of selected observations

Data

1/
hclust
object
