    <p>I have an app that is periodically crashing for the client. I'm unable to duplicate the crash, but I was able to get an error log from the client and I'm hoping someone could point me in the right direction as to what I should be looking at. This is in the minority of the crash reports, most of the other crash reports are Low Memory Events. COIt's hard to get much from that but `objc_msgSend` on the top of the stack is indication of a problem where a message is being sent to an object that doesn't exist (or doesn't understand the message). The odds are that you have something weak that should be strong or something that has gone out of scope when it shouldn't. Maybe your alert uses a delegate... (guessing)?

COWhat I'm seeing happen more often for this app is that the iPad is running out of memory when multiple uploads are happening (20+), so I'm wondering if this particular crash was just an artifact of it just about running out of memory. Is that a possibility? I'm thinking of moving the uploads into a queue of some sort to help solve that issue.

    3. COMaybe. It used to be true that the system would unload unused views when you were low on memory. I thought that had stopped but I haven't followed the subject too closely. One way or another, it's very likely that the cause of the actual crash is an object that has already been destroyed. I'd suggest using zombies as a way of investigating but if you're already low on memory that may not work well.
