    <p>i have a web application. when built with msbuild, and then deployed to an IIS, it claims to be missing a reference to System.Web.Mvc version 4.0.0.0 the problem is, it doesn't and shouldn't reference the mvc assembly. how do i find out where this reference is coming from?</p> <p>thanks.</p> <p>output from IIS:</p> <pre><code>Server Error in '/Content' Application.
