    1. COWhat steps have you taken so far towards this? To me it sounds like you need to create a hook to alter how the Document and Media portlet works. That would be a start.

COI have a few questions: 1) Do you mean to say - the User is already logged in but when he would try to download the file he should be asked to login again? 2) Then when he again logs in the file should be sent to his email-address instead of being downloaded on his system? 3) Can you please elaborate a little more on your requirement?
