    <p>Would anyone mind having a look at these bits of code and see if there is a memory leak in them, it isn't going to be overly large but my program keeps crashing after a while of running and I don't know how to use viualvm even though I have been reading up on it for several days now and haven't the slightest idea what I am looking for in the heap dumps and so on. thanks for your help, ps I know I have posted far to muchg code but i dont know what else to do so that you can hopefully see where the problem arises for me. If it helps I can email you the full program to take a look at.     3. COWith the current setup I have for the imagepanel would anyone be able to help me out in writing a setImage method so as I can just change the image rather than having to recreate the wholepanel each time, I think this or something about the JImagePanel method is causing the problem.
