    1. COI placed the buttonPanel ("previous","next","finish" & "cancel") at contentPane.SOUTH. in the centre of the contentPane I placed a JPanel with cardlayout. The secondCard JPanel is the code shown above. It is the second card of the layout (poor nomenclature, I know). Is that a good aproach? I chose BoxLayout because it is simple and because BorderLayout sucks

Try moving around until you find a non-empty to-many entry and click on the label to get to one. You can move back to the root by clicking on the database name in the header.
