What I've found is that CodeRush/Refactor Pro has a steeper learning curve, but once you have trained yourself and the environment (and switched a few keystrokes) CodeRush really becomes effective.</p> <p>ReSharper is equally good and don't let anyone mislead you on that point. They are not equal though and it will depend on your needs. CodeRush is way more extensible (IMO), but if you move from one to the other you will be missing a couple things from the other.</p> <p>Back in July I took a month and I did just what you are talking about doing (I migrated from ReSharper to CodeRush and blogged about it).</p> <p>I'm pretty happy with the end result (there's a couple things I'm missing...
