BI &amp; Reporting tools are a <em>huge</em> area!</p> <p>Finally if you need fairly simple PivotTable/crosstab type functionality then this <a href="http://www.pentalogic.net/crosstab-for-sharepoint.aspx" rel="nofollow noreferrer">CrossTab web part</a> may be suitable (<em>disclaimer - its sold by my company</em>)</p>
